EspañolOn March 30th, 2023 Avery was diagnosed with AML for a second time. We are all devastated. This time he will need chemotherapy followed by a bone marrow transplant. We aren’t sure what that looks like right now. Currently, I am working as much as I can while family fills in at the hospital with Avery. After the BMT, that may not be sustainable because of hospital rules. Any donations would be to support me being able to stay with Avery full time should the need arise, and any extra things Avery needs due to the cancer, chemotherapy and transplant. We appreciate any and all help. Also please consider registering at BeTheMatch.org to give someone a chance to be cured 💜

Avery had a more permanent central line placed today. They took out his PICC line, did a bone marrow biopsy, and gave him chemo in his spine. He’s having some heart concerns, but the preliminary results from the biopsy didn’t show cancer cells. Hopefully that means that after this round of chemo and the more in depth results come back, we can do his bone marrow transplant 🤞🏻💜
