À propos de cette collecte de fonds

I am eager to complete the build on my home and finally have a place to call my own. I have been dreaming of this moment for so long, and I am determined to make it a reality. I had to put the project on hold due to unforeseen circumstances, but I am ready to push forward and bring my vision to life. A friend has graciously allowed me to stay in a small apartment for the time being, but I have been here for a year now and I am ready for a permanent solution. As a 62-year-old on disability with a fixed income, I am facing significant financial challenges, but I am not giving up. I sold my previous home in June 2025 and used the proceeds to help my daughter and brother purchase a property where I could build a small home. We had always dreamed of living in the country, and I was excited to be a part of making that dream a reality. Unfortunately, life had other plans. My contractor, who is also a friend, started the build, but we encountered several setbacks along the way. My daughter was in a bad car accident and needed financial assistance to purchase a new vehicle, and my small dog required emergency veterinary care after being hit by a vehicle on the property. I had to use some of the proceeds to cover these unexpected expenses. Despite these challenges, I am determined to complete my home and start this new chapter of my life. The house is about halfway done, and I am eager to see it finished. Building supplies are expensive, but I have been resourceful and found ways to acquire materials at a lower cost. However, I have reached a point where I need additional financial assistance to complete the project. I am reaching out for help to finish my home and finally have a place to call my own. It would mean the world to me to have a permanent home where I can live without worrying about rent or a mortgage. I would be able to grow my own vegetables, have space for my pets, and enjoy the peace and quiet of the country. My brother, who was supposed to build a small home on the property as well, passed away in April, and my sister passed away in June. I am still grieving the loss of my loved ones, but I am determined to push forward and create a better life for myself. I need help as soon as possible, and I am grateful for any assistance I can receive. A home of my own would be a dream come true, and I am willing to do whatever it takes to make it a reality. I never thought I would be in a position where I would have to ask for help, but I am grateful for the opportunity to share my story and receive support. Any help I can receive would be a blessing, and I thank you from the bottom of my heart
