Help Us Honor the Beautiful Life of My Daughter

My name is Leatrice, and I never imagined I would have to ask for help laying my daughter to rest.

My beautiful daughter was only 28 years old when her life was tragically taken from us. She was also 10 weeks pregnant, making this loss even more heartbreaking for our family. We are mourning not only the loss of a loving daughter, mother, sister, aunt, cousin, niece, and friend, but also the precious baby she was carrying.

She was one of the sweetest, most selfless people you could ever meet. She had a heart of gold and never hesitated to help someone in need. Everywhere she went, people spoke of her kindness. Her teachers, former classmates, family friends, and coworkers who watched her grow up all remembered her as a beautiful soul who treated everyone with love and respect.

As her mother, I was blessed to spend 28 wonderful years with her. One of the things I will miss most is her daily phone calls. No matter what was going on, I could always count on hearing her cheerful voice say, “Hi Mommy.” Those simple words meant the world to me, and the silence they have left behind is unimaginable.

She leaves behind her four beautiful children, who now have to grow up without their mother. Our family is doing everything we can to give her the dignified farewell she deserves while surrounding her children with as much love and support as possible.
