I’m a single mother of four, and I recently got employed. Right now, I do not have reliable transportation, so I am walking to and from work every day while trying to keep everything together for my children. Walking there is 5 miles away, and takes me approximately about 2 hours each trip to one or the other location.

Not having a vehicle is affecting every part of our routine. By the time I get home, my children are already in bed, and I am missing that time with them. I have also been late to work a few times because of traffic, and when I get off work, the bus is no longer running. I am doing everything I can to keep this job, but getting back and forth each day has gotten harde an d harder.

I am asking for help so I can either fix my current car or buy a cheap used one. Having reliable transportation would make it possible for me to get to work more consistently and get home to my children sooner.
