We've been saving for this trip since January. Our kids have never been to Disneyland, and we wanted to give them something special for Christmas—memories instead of presents. We've been putting money away each month, dreaming about seeing their faces light up when they walk down Main Street.

Then we got hit by a drunk driver. The accident turned everything upside down. Between the medical bills, car repairs, and lost wages while we recovered, we've had to put our Disneyland payments on hold. Right now, every dollar we have is going toward our mortgage and keeping food on the table.

We've already invested so much into this trip, both in money and in hope. We don't want to lose what we've saved. We also can't afford to restart from scratch.
