À propos de cette collecte de fonds

For the past two years, making blessing bags for people in need has been one of the greatest joys in my life. Since beginning my recovery on April 13, 2019, I’ve learned how important it is to give back, spread kindness, and show others the love of God—not just through words, but through actions. Every month, I’ve made approximately 25 blessing bags filled with things people who are struggling may truly need. I’ve given them to people experiencing homelessness, elderly individuals, children, and anyone in my community who could use a little extra love and encouragement. ❤️

I’m blessed to receive a few donated items from time to time, such as gloves, blankets, and occasionally water, but most of what goes into these bags comes directly out of my own pocket. I live in a small town and don’t have a large income, but I’ve always found a way because this is something that brings so much happiness and purpose to my life. Unfortunately, over the past four months, things have become especially difficult financially. My car needed a new alternator and brakes, and last month our refrigerator stopped working. Right now, my partner is the only one working, and we also have our 7-year-old daughter to care for, so there simply hasn’t been much left over for blessing-bag supplies.

I’m asking for help so I can continue something that has become such an important part of my life. Every donation, no matter how small, can help put food, water, hygiene items, warm socks, gloves, blankets, and other necessities into the hands of someone who needs them. I also want my daughter to grow up seeing that even when you don’t have a lot, you can still make a difference in someone else’s life. If you’re unable to donate, sharing this fundraiser or simply saying a prayer for our family and the people we serve means more than you know. 🙏❤️

Thank you for taking the time to read my story, and thank you to everyone who helps me continue spreading kindness, hope, and the love of God—one blessing bag at a time. 💕
