À propos de cette collecte de fonds

Hi everyone,

I have some exciting news to share! This November, I will be traveling to Honduras to join a medical mission with One World Surgery.  My daughter, Amber, and my grandson, Max, will also be going.

In many parts of the world, a surgical condition isn't just a medical inconvenience—it’s a life-altering crisis. Millions of people live in chronic pain or lose their ability to work simply because they lack access to safe, affordable care. One World Surgery is changing that by providing world-class surgical care to those who need it most, completely free of charge.

Why One World Surgery is Different

What drew me to this specific organization is their commitment to sustainability. Unlike many short-term missions that leave as soon as the week is over, One World Surgery operates permanent, world-class surgery centers (like the Holy Family Surgery Center). They employ local physicians and staff year-round, ensuring that every patient receives not just a procedure, but the essential follow-up care and long-term support they deserve.

How You Can Help

I’ve always wanted to give back, and this mission is the perfect opportunity. During this trip, I’ll be working alongside a dedicated team of volunteers to help patients receive surgeries that will allow them to walk again, return to work, and care for their families.

I am raising funds to cover the mission fee, my travel expenses and to provide direct support for the medical supplies needed for these procedures. Every dollar donated goes directly toward making these life-changing surgeries possible.

If you’d like to learn more about the incredible, permanent impact this organization has on global health, please visit OneWorldSurgery.org.

Thank you so much for your support, whether through a donation or by sharing this page with others!
