My mom is a liver transplant recipient who has spent years fighting to stay healthy after receiving the gift of life. Because of her transplant, she takes medications that suppress her immune system, making her much more vulnerable to serious infections.

After prolonged exposure to severe mold in her home, her health began to decline. Her doctors now believe this exposure may have played a significant role in the devastating illness she is battling. She has been hospitalized since May 24 and has endured an incredibly difficult journey, including recurrent fluid around her lungs, kidney complications, countless procedures, and weeks away from the comfort of home.

Every day has been a fight. Watching someone you love struggle to breathe and fight for their life is something no family is ever prepared for. Despite everything she has endured, she continues to show incredible strength and courage.

We are raising funds to help with the overwhelming medical expenses, travel to and from the hospital, meals, lodging, medications, and the costs that continue to grow while she remains hospitalized.
