My mother who has always been the caretaker for her family had a sudden ilness and after going to the ER and having to have surgery we discovered she has 4th stage peritoneal carcinomatosis. This was very sudden and had no warning signs. She is a mother, grandmother and great grandmother. In addition to having and raising her own kids, she also adopted 2 children and raised them also. She gave up her life and became the primary caretaker foe my geandmother 4 years ago and did so consistently until my grandmothers passing in 2024. My father is a retired coalminer who is disabled as well as having had multiple strokes and a heart attack and is unable to work or provide for them so his social security and retirement is the only income they have. Any and all donations are very appreciated as we will be traveling to and from Duke. Gas is going up and I’m needing to do regular maintenance such as tires, brakes oul changes on mine and her vehicle to ensure she has a safe ride to and from appointments. Due to her not being able to work now, her bills are adding up quicly with no way to pay them. She is in desparate need of any and all donations to help ease the financial burden. She has always been so selfless willing to help with anything she is asked to do and pouring her heart into the church so I would love to be able to help her and give back.
