I am a disabled railroad worker who at the age of 66 has discovered not only a new passion but a possible proclivity toward art. People really like my work. I really like my work but the time has come to outgrow 24x36 canvases for a larger forma. That takes money that I do not have. I am willing to show you my current work and the workspace. It’s become a beast unto itself and it’s beautiful but sadly outgrown. My wife is also a retiree and we have an extremely talented 15 year old son. Medical bills are through the roof (9 surgeries in 20 year) and we live in a rental home. After being caregiver to my parents and raising my son the savings have been depleted (exhausted). We get by nicely on disability benefits but it leaves no room for discretionary spending, like paint, canvas and most importantly enough money to rent some kind of studio. Nothing fancy. Heat, ligh, a bathroom, brush cleaning sink, electricity for music and probably other things. I have a GoPro and apple phone, plus Ipad and plan on filmIng the whole process and results. i promise that that alone will be highly entertaining. Let me know if you want to see more of my work. My first showing is in a couple of weeks. Equal parts scared and excited. Please help me create some good art. Larger canvases are needed to express the world and my imagination. Please help if you can.
