À propos de cette collecte de fonds

This took a lot for me to do. I never would do this unless I really needed it. This is for myself, my daughter and my grandson. I'm the sole provider and the home we live in is too expensive. We're looking to move asap, however, we're also trying to avoid eviction. I've had to pick and choose which bills to pay and which to put off. Putting off rent caught up with me since I needed to purchase household items, diapers, gas to get to and from work, food since we've been denied nutrition assistance. It has become extremely difficult to stay above water.

We're needing $3,000 by Wednesday, May 13, 2026 to be able to stay through end of May. We need $2,000 to stay for June and $5,000 to move into a different place that isn't as expensive. I used a pic of homes available in the area that are better for us to show that our price range has available homes, it is the moving costs that are impossible for me to obtain.

My daughter does not work as her son is 5 months old and has a rare bleeding disorder so we don't trust sending him to daycare anytime soon. My hours were cut at work so I'm no longer working overtime, plus am needing to leave early frequently for doctor's appointments or emergencies for the baby. I've applied to new jobs repeatedly and just keep getting rejected. Now I'm just looking for a WFH job that makes around the same or slightly more than what I currently make so I am no longer commuting and am more available for the baby.

Moving will help us more than staying here permanently. My current rent is $2,000 a month and I bring home $2,400 a month, sometimes less. I also work in ABA and with the way things are moving with medicaid, I could potentially lose my job and am nervous. I've started packing, but cannot get us locked out.

Anything helps. I truly appreciate any help.
