Hello. My name is Catrina. My 15 month old American Pit was horrifically attacked in M HOUSE by another tenant of my landlords who lives on the same property, but in back, by her pitbull..He is much bigger and meaner, and has attacked my dog twice now. Unprovoked. And bitten 11 people. This last time , he nearly killed him. His injuries are extensive, and the er bill this last time, at Glendora emergency animal hospital was almost $4000. Which i did not have. But my guardian angel of a best friend paid it for me. So now im in debt for that, I they told me it does not cover follow up, stitch removal, nor the medication refills or surgery the beli e he needs to have to repair his groin that the other dog tried to bite off or the one that caused air to become trapped between his chest cavity and lungs,  putting him at risk for a collapsed lung. The irony of it all is that the other dogs owner, Sunny Hall, was supposed to have rescued my dog from an abusive owner. Only to abandon him to me and literally subject him to a life of abuse . I was told by a reliable source that she hated my dog and would constantly harm him while he was playing outside. Then she lied to the police and said my dog attacked hers. I've called the animal control/humane society several times, sent the er report along with multiple pics of his wounds. She still has the dog

. So I gave up and moved out. I can't have him living in an unsafe environment. However I wasn't anticipating this and wasn't prepared for the costs. I refuse to give up on him. He has been through helll. So I had to place him in temporary 2 week foster care so I can try and find the means to pay for us to m I ve someplace safe and his meds and follow up. I have until Aug. 7th tp retrieve him or they go into abandonment process, where most likely he will be put put to sleep. I can't let that happen.
