As many of you know, Mandy began dialysis on January 17th, and it has been an incredibly challenging journey for her and our family. While she has shown immense strength with the unwavering support of her husband, family, and friends, the reality of her situation is overwhelming. Between managing the side effects of her treatments, caring for a tracheostomy, living with diabetes, and balancing her responsibilities as a full-time nursing student and mother of two, Mandy is fighting an uphill battle every single day. Despite these immense hurdles, she remains resilient and dedicated to her recovery. Now, more than ever, we are reaching out for your support to help her secure a life-saving kidney transplant as soon as possible. Any contribution will make a meaningful difference in Mandy’s journey toward health and a brighter future for her and her children.  I am requesting help because once I get the transplant I am required to stay in New Orleans for at last a month in a hotel near the hospital and this comes out of my own pocket and I have to also cover my own meals. Also I still have to cover all my bills back home. Any money I raise will help me cover those costs as well as help make sure my family is provided for while my husband and I stay close to the hospital.
