I lost my job last year due to a company-wide department elimination, and after an extended period of unemployment, I’ve been doing everything I can to stay afloat while actively searching for work.

I’ve now secured a new job starting July 6th, but unfortunately there is a gap between when my rent is due (July 4th) and when I will receive my first paycheck. Because of standard payroll timing and withholdings, there will be a delay before I have income coming in.

I’m very close to getting back on stable footing, but I’m facing a short-term financial gap at the worst possible time. Any support during this transition would mean a great deal and would go directly toward helping me stay housed while I begin this new job.
