I am a single mother of three. I have raised my children pretty much on my own with very little financial support. I am self employed and I homeschool my children. We lived in a rental home for over 10 years. We loved it there. The property was sold though and the new landlord wanted the home for himself. We were given two months to move. The same landlord had a home available for rent that he offered us. Due to very little time to move and very limited availability in rentals in our area, I accepted it. A few months later he raised the rent on me. After a year, he wanted to raise the rent even more. I couldn't afford it and so my lease was not renewed. We were given two months move again. His daughter now has that home. 

We were offered a camper on someone's property. That is where we have been the past several months. I have began the process of doing an USDA loan to buy us a home. I am hoping to raise enough money for a down payment or at least enough to cover the expenses to move again. Moving two times in less than two years and the past rent increase wiped out my savings and prevented further savings during that time. 

I have never done any type of fundraiser or asking of charity for myself but doing so now will hopefully speed the process up as it would take me a considerable amount of time to save the funds needed.
