Well becuz I want to start a non profit charity called Addicts Helping Addicts. 

I was sitting in group one day at my methadone treatment facility, and I had realized that all the counselors were not ex addicts. So then I noticed that no clients would ever listen to what they had to say. 

So I thought of starting a program called Addicts Helping Addicts. Which would provide street addicts with information they need to get help ( shelters, doctors, clinics, self help groups,). This information would be passed on to addicts by ex addicts in recovery, which would increase the probability that the information would be received, rather than “in one ear and out the other”. As an former addict myself , I can honestly say that this makes a huge difference. 

So not only do I need volunteers, but the cost to get a non profit started is way more than I can make. As I get farther into it I'm learning more and more and hope to be up and going by Sept of next year.
