Our hearts are broken as we come together to support Anita Gunn and Charles Andula after the tragic loss of their 13-year-old child, Airen Andula.

Airen was last seen around 8 a.m. on Sunday. After an extensive search involving law enforcement and community members, Airen was found deceased across state lines. A man has since been charged in connection with abandoning Airen’s body. This devastating outcome has shaken a family and a community that is known for being peaceful, close-knit, and deeply caring.

Anita and Charles have expressed profound gratitude for the overwhelming support they’ve received. They’ve shared how tirelessly law enforcement searched and how neighbors, friends, and strangers showed up with compassion, strength, and unity during the darkest days imaginable.
