Titans for DECA is a fundraiser created to support students who want to compete, learn, and grow as future leaders. Due to recent federal budget cuts, Alexandria City High School can no longer provide the funding that once helped our DECA chapter participate in competitions at low costs. Many students relied on that support to access opportunities that are now at risk of becoming unaffordable.
This need is especially urgent because our chapter is incredibly talented. Each year, more students qualify to compete at higher levels. This year alone, 28 students automatically qualified for the Virginia DECA State Leadership Conference, with many more eligible to compete in written event and team events. Without proper funding, students who worked hard enough to earn a spot at districts, states, and even internationals may have to give up their opportunity simply because they cannot afford the cost.
Our chapter has always believed that success should be based on dedication, not financial circumstances. This fundraiser helps cover competition fees, travel expenses, and essential materials so that every motivated student can participate and represent ACHS with pride. Your support allows students to gain real experience in marketing, leadership, public speaking, finance, and professional development without facing financial barriers.
