Sweet 5 year old Alexis is battling with all her might against RSV right now. In the last 24 hours she has gone into cardiac arrest twice, was air lifted from BBC to UofM, put on Echmo, and is now intubated and sedated for at least the next couple of days. We will not know the full function of her brain until she wakes up. With that being said, her mom will be out of work that she just started in the last few weeks for the unforseeable future, driving back and forth for the other two little ones, and needing to rely on food on the go for the majority.
