Hi, my name is Ambrosia Howell.  I'm 29 years old, and after numerous hospitalizations and tests I recently was diagnosed with Bronchiolitis Obliterans; a small airway lung disease that attacks the small alveoli sacs within the lungs, causing them to harden off. In turn, this disease will eventually lead to respiratory failure, which is why I am in need of a double lung transplant.  Before I can get on the transplant list ,however, I must lose some weight in order to qualify for this life-saving surgery. My doctors believe I got this disease as a result of being very premature born at 6 months weighing 1 lb 11 oz with very underdeveloped lungs which has only worsened over time mixed with a false negative test back in 2021 for COVID 19 when I was struggling so bad to breathe I had to go to the hospital. I'm asking for donations from the community to please assist with the costs associated with trying to get me my life-saving surgery so that I may have more time with my family including my husband Jasen Howell who is an Army Veteran. We fell in love at a young age and have been together for 14 years, but that's still not enough time together. We vowed on forever. We still have so much we want to see and do together, including starting our own little family someday soon.
