Dear friends, family, and kind-hearted strangers,

It is with heavy hearts that we share the loss of my sister’s son Andrew. This is no pain no parent should ever have to endure, and right now our only focus is making sure she has the time and space she needs to grieve. 

My sister would never ask for help herself—in fact, she did not want me creating this fundraiser—but I DON’T know how to listen plus we are doing this because we love her and want to support her in any way we can. Our hope is to ease the financial pressure so she doesn’t have to worry about expenses or rush back into daily responsibilities while she mourns.

If you feel led to give, any amount is deeply appreciated. And for those who would rather send flowers or other gestures of support, that kindness means just as much.

Most important, we ask that you keep her in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. 

Thank you for surrounding her with love and compassion. She has seen all the messages and many phone calls but she is currently focusing her all her energy on processing her son’s untimely passing. Give her a little grace as she will respond eventually but for now she just needs some quiet. She appreciates the outpour of love and support for her and Andrew!
