Friends:
We come to you asking for assistance for our family. We are pushing through all of our pride, our feelings of fear, anxiety, & the unknown.
We moved into our home in June 2019. Logan was 6 months at the time and this is truly the only home he has known. We absolutely love our Landlord. Unfortunately, the last 2 years have brought financial troubles to our life. Our lease is up at the end of this month (March 31, 2025) & we have fallen behind. We are currently 2 months short, & if not caught up, we will be forced to move without a place to go.
The last 2 years- Anthony rejoined the Car Sales industry after taking time off during Covid to practice his Real Estate License & flip a house. Going back into Car Sales, we have learned very hard lessons in that the Pay/Income is definitely not what it was when he first started in 2016. & In the last 8 months has progressively gotten worse. He has not received a livable bonus since July 2024. We have barely (but not really) scraped by. He has been actively searching for a new position since October of last year. (His Direct Manager is very aware of this. & He has been amazingly supportive. Anthony has always been loyal to him. Unfortunately, Loyalty is not bringing in customers to purchase from the dealership & is not supporting keeping a roof over heads.) Tess has been a stay at home mother, caregiver, & devoted activist raising our 6 year old Autistic Son Logan. We are at a place where she finally feels comfortable that Logan is safe & will not be called out from his center due to shortages. She is actively searching for work as well. & Has had 2 interviews in the last week.
We have reached out to all services/avenues possible (All churches, Our Trustees office, Area 4, Bauer, LUM, Salvation Army, Housing Authority, etc) Unfortunately these avenues either have very long waiting lists, are not able to assist at all, or can not assist until we are caught up/have a dedicated note from our landlord that she will re-up our lease. Anthony has been dedicating himself to Spark Delivery (Walmart) & Door Dash delivery from 6am-11pm on every day off as well as early mornings/late nights before/after work at the dealership. This has helped a little in that we caught up 1 month, but as hard as he is working- we are still going to be short 2 months before March 31st.
We want to say Thank You to those that have either given job leads or have provided references. & Thank You to anyone/everyone that has read this & feels able to assist in our financial needs at this time.
Thank You,
Tess, Anthony, & Logan Turner
