  • Hospice Journey

Barbara was able to return home for a few short days before having to return to the hospital for a fall this past Saturday. Thankfully, she was not injured, but she was given some news by her doctor’s which was not what she and her family were praying so hard for.

After exhausting all available treatments, Barbara’s care team has suggested she go under hospices care. She will remain in the hospital for some testing and then go home under the care of Hospice which should be in a few days.

Despite the pain, she continues to show incredible strength and love. She is in good spirits and continues to give God the glory for being with her during this journey. She is eager to go home and be comfortable.

We continue to ask for help to ease the financial burden of medical bills, any expenses not covered by hospice care, and support for her and husband during this unimaginable time. Any and all donations are greatly appreciated. Thank to the ones who have already donated.

We will update again after Barbara returns home.

    Thank you

About this fundraiser

Barbara was diagnosed with Lung Cancer in 2025. Since then she has had 5 months of chemo treatments.  She went into remission where the cancer in her lungs was cured. Barbara was doing much better after the lung cancer was cured. Unfortunately, she became ill again, where she was hospitalized.  This is when she received the sad news the cancer had returned, but this time it had metastasized to the brain where she now has three tumors. One is the size of the golf ball.  She will start radiation treatments on Monday, January 19th 2026. She will have to stay in the hospital until she finishes all treatment. Once she goes home she will need extensive treatments and medical devices. She and her family will need extensive help, financially for medical bills, utilities and all other expenses required to help stay comfortable throughout her cancer journey. Her Medical insurance will not cover all the treatment she needs, so this will be a huge hardship on Barbara and her family.  At this time, the family would appreciate any financial assistance they can receive.  We are seeking contributions to help cover these medical costs and ensure that Barbara receives the care she urgently needs. Any donation, large or small, would be greatly appreciated and will directly support the payment of medical bills and associated expenses. Your generosity will make a huge difference in the medical care she will receive and her ability to make a recovery.  To make a donation, please feel free to use any of the following, Cashapp or Venmo, or here.
