Beau is a dad of 5 kids and a Papa to 3 grandkids and has a new grandchild on the way. He was healthy and thriving one day, in the hospital the next day, learning that he has NASH liver disease that has turned into cirrhosis and it's stage 4 liver failure at this point. He was referred to the Nazih Zuhdi Transplant Institute where he was immediately told he needed a liver transplant ASAP in order to stay alive. After an entire battery of testing, he has been placed at the top of the liver transplant list and is waiting to be called for his transplant at any moment. He is required to have 24/7 care by family or friends, for 1-3 months post transplant. He has been in and out of the hospital since October and we have exhausted all funds and PTO time at this point. His care team will have to take unpaid time off, to care for him. We were told by the transplant team that he needs to fundraise. If you can give even a dollar, that would be such a blessing.
