About this fundraiser

Briar Jones left this world and soared his angel wings August 2, 2025.   He faught a fight with a smile and the happiness only found in a little boys face.   Briar showed us what a true warrior looks like.

While, no one is ever prepared for the loss of a loved one in any way. There are outside burdens that come with loss that we as a community can aid in.  We would like to help  Briar's parents Alexis and Britt Jones with Briar's funeral and memorial expenses.  If you would like to help it would be greatly appreciated.

Briar Lee Jones, a full throttle 3, met Jesus face to face on Saturday, August 2, 2025.

The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 7, 2025, at First Baptist Church with Pastor Ryan Carnes officiating. A private interment will follow with Aaron Simpson, Spencer Culverson, Jake Jones, and Alex Wimberly serving as active pallbearers.

The family will receive friends immediately following the service. Online visitors may sign the guest register at www.bryantfuneralga.com. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Arthur M. Blank Hospital, 2220 North Druid Hills Road NE, Atlanta, GA 30329. www.give.choa.org

Briar Lee Jones was born October 19, 2021, in Cairo, GA, the son of Britt and Alexis Wimberly Jones. From Day 1, Briar was the star of the show. He was full of personality and loved being in on the action. Playing with his cousins, doing all the things, was the best day. Shark movies, dinosaurs, and monster trucks were fun, but not as much as slime. The beach was a wide-open space for Briar to “Mingo Dance” and play with plenty of sand to dig in. He loved dino gummies, yellow chips, and “better peas”. (If Briar didn’t like something, he would request “better”.) Briar was a warrior, a fighter, and a gift from God.

Survivors include his parents; his grandparents, Traci & Branden Hall, Michelle Jones, and Ed Jones; his great-grandparents, Lisa Odom, Bryan & Sue Webb, and Judy & Carroll Jones; and a host of extended family.
