I am fundraising, because my husband died and we had time to talk about what we would do when he dies considering he was at home in hospice and I cared for him, but we chose to not talk about it instead we enjoyed each other's company and spent it not stressing on how to pay for his memorial. I would not change a thing not even the part where we did not talk about who would pay for a funeral or memorial. My husband always told me just to put him in a box and he would be fine. My words to him was no way I can't just put you in a box. He did not want no one to see him dead his last wishes was die at home with me and our furbaby Growler. I granted him the wish and when I lost my husband I had no money, my husband was on disability and he was on at home hospice before he died I did not work from caring for him and I would do it again a million times over. Anyway his disability was stopped right away even before me his wife has even gotten a death certificate yet. The reason I have started this fundraiser is because for me to have my husband cremated was 938 dollars and that is to cremate him, 5 death certificates, and him being put in a plastic bag and then into a box, so it truly hurts me the one thing I told him he would not be put in he actually is because I can not afford a urn. THIS FUNDRAISER IS FOR THOSE BROKEN WIDOWS NO INSURANCE OR MONEY TO BURY THEIR SIGNIFICANT OTHER YOUR WIFE, YOUR HUSBAND, YOUR ONE AND ONLY, YOUR EVERYTHING, WE ALL HAVE OUR LITTLE NAMES FOR OUR HUSBAND OR OUR WIFE WHICHEVER BEST DESCRIBES YOUR OWN SITUATION WHO IS BROKE NOWHERE TO TURN TO AND FEELING HELPLESS. It broke my heart to have to get people to donate to pay for cremation and him being put in a box breaks my heart even more so I hope you will donate to this cause because no one knows how that feels until you have been ther and I have been. Ripped my soul out.
