I lost my dad Friday, March 6 after he battled six long months of CHF, Emphysema,  COPD, Asthma, and many other illnesses. He was a great father, husband, grandfather, just a family oriented family man. And I will miss him so, so much. It hurts to know that I will never be able to talk with him but I know he no longer suffering and in a better place. After finding out my dad only had 6months to live i started looking over policies only to find out it lapsed last year.  During Hurricane Ida their home was destroyed and they had to start over with a mortgage and no longer able to afford any extra expenses. My parents are on a fixed income so funds have been limited. After placing my dad on Hospice,  i gave up everything to be his caretaker. He has always been there for me and my kids and I just wanted to return the favor. My mother is also ill, she suffers from Parkinsons, epilepsy, stage 4 renal failure, and rheumatoid arthritis. So this has been a very long hard road for me and my family and I just want to give my father a proper burial. I appreciate any support given. Thanks.
