As many of you know, I’ve recently been diagnosed with colon cancer, and I’ll be undergoing surgery to remove a mass on July 7th. This has been a challenging and emotional time, but I’m facing it with courage and determination.

While I’m focusing on recovery, I will be out of work for 2 to 3 weeks with no income, which adds another layer of stress. And even though I have insurance, it will not cover all the costs—and as many know, cancer care is incredibly expensive.
