I know you’re surprised to see this. I’ve been smiling, living, and showing up all while fighting a battle most of you had no clue about. 🎗️✨

​I’m sharing this today because "healthy" doesn't always look the way we think it does.

​This past October, I went in for my Annual Wellness Exam feeling 100% fine. I wasn't "sick." I had no symptoms. I was just being proactive. My doctor ordered a routine Cologuard screening, and when that came back positive, I was shocked. A colonoscopy on October 7th confirmed the unthinkable: Stage IIIb Colon Cancer.

​I went from a routine checkup to a major surgery on November 17th. Since then, I’ve been quietly navigating 12 rounds of chemotherapy to make sure this cancer is GONE for good.

 I am officially HALFWAY DONE! 🎊 7 rounds down, 5 to go. I’ve kept my smile, I’ve kept my faith, and I’ve kept living my life through every bit of it. 

While I’ve been winning the physical battle, I hit a major roadblock. On March 24th, my health insurance was terminated. Today, I am paying $2,500 out-of-pocket for every single treatment. I’m reaching out to my village not just for awareness, but for help to cross the finish line. I have 5 treatments left to become cancer-free.
