As most of you know, our friend Cassandra Judd has been battling esophageal cancer. Its gotten to the point where she needs to figure out where the money is going to come from so that her family can keep the lights on at home and she continue treatment. She has had 8 weeks of chemo, thankfully no radiation! She had surgery this week to remove the mass, and additional testing dine which thankfully showed that the cancer has not spread to the surrounding lymph nodes! However, that surgery will keep her bedridden for sometime. She has had to quit her job, ask open her life up to strangers for church and government support. Close friends and family have given support. Her husband and children are in the process of looking for better jobs to bring in more money as well. All of this takes time and so in addition to all of that, I’m putting out this fundraiser. If you are in a place to give, she would be forever grateful! Cass has been my friend for almost 20 years! During that time, I have watched her serve others fiercely and unconditionally. She has opened her home up to numerous people who have hit on hard times, she has served in her church and in her community. She has been a strength in her workplace, lending others a hand to lift and a shoulder to cry on. She has a positive attitude that does not quit! And now her its her turn to be on the receiving end of some of that. Now she’s the one who needs the help. It’s a big ask, I know. If you have anything to spare, her family would be beyond grateful.
