We are heartbroken by the sudden and tragic loss of Christopher D. Valsin, Jr. His life was taken by senseless gun violence as he departed from a celebration of Father’s Day and a beloved family member’s birthday.

In the wake of this unimaginable loss, family and friends are coming together to support his devoted wife, Ashtin, who cares for Ava and Aiden, now without their father.

Chris and Ashtin shared a joyful home, full of love, laughter, and dreams, for the life they were building together. He was deeply cherished as a vibrant, family-centered man who put his loved ones first.

A dedicated and hardworking professional, Chris took great pride in his role as a Process Operator at Goodyear Chemical. He was especially excited about his new position after recently completing months of training— a testament to his commitment and drive.

Any contribution, no matter the size, is deeply appreciated and will help Ashtin and the children at the precious ages of 4 and 1 navigate this unexpected and painful time. Please keep them in your thoughts and prayers as they begin life without Chris.
