EP Elks Family with 5 children. Parents are both teachers in new positions so they both have very little sick time.  Mother‘s position is in a behavior classroom and the needs of her program have impacted her physical health. Surgery is needed to resolve the condition but it and her recovery to return to work is months away. Family help is maxed, loans are maxed, kids school tuitions are overdue and many overdue bills are now in collections. Their reduction of income has forced accounts to go negative. Mother needs a hysterectomy after 5 months, 7 professionals, 2 states and 3 major hospital groups unable to stop bleeding and pain and after several batteries of tests and treatments. Only staying home from work has stopped the bleeding for now. With her being out of work things are compounding, and may have to wait until the spring to return to work. Her job is in jeopardy with medical paperwork showing she cannot work in her program and employer is not quick to help by moving her to a standard classroom.  She has the ability to pay 2K/month for COBRA to keep benefits but there are not enough funds to do this. They need help getting a push to absorb the negative cyclical bank situation and funds to pay the COBRA to survive the winter.
