Hi, my name is Courtney, and I'm reaching out during one of the most difficult times of my life.
I'm currently in sober living, rebuilding my life one day at a time. After battling both addiction and cancer, I’m now in remission — and I’m doing everything I can to stay there. But without health insurance, a job, a car or even a phone, I’m facing serious challenges in accessing the medication that’s keeping me alive and well.
These medications are not optional — they are essential to keep the cancer from returning. Right now, I can't afford them, and I’m scared. On top of that, I’m trying to cover basic needs like transportation, hygiene items, and a way to stay connected (like a prepaid phone) while I search for work.
I’m not used to asking for help like this, but I know I can’t do it alone. If you’re able to support me — with a donation or simply by sharing this page — it would mean the world to me.
Your kindness can help me:
- Pay for vital cancer medication
- Cover basic living expenses (food, hygiene items, etc.)
- Get a phone to stay in touch and apply for jobs
- Help with getting a car
- Keep moving forward in sobriety and health
Every dollar helps. Every share helps. Every act of kindness helps.
Thank you so much for reading, for caring, and for believing in my recovery and healing.
With gratitude,
Courtney
