On December 25th, my dad was found deceased in his car. What was meant to be a day of celebration turned into a complete nightmare for me and for everyone who loved him. After surviving two previous strokes, his body finally gave out and could not endure another.

For those who knew my dad, you know he was an incredible musician with so much character and soul. Music was a huge part of who he was. The only physical thing I have left of him now, aside from memories, is his guitar.

It would mean the world to me to honor him with music at his funeral—ideally having a mariachi play in his memory—but our first and most important priority is raising enough funds to cover funeral expenses.
