My beautiful mother was just hospitalized with a sudden, devastating medical crisis. She was diagnosed with two rare diseases, Scleroderma and severe Raynaud’s, which have completely cut off the blood flow to her hands. This has already caused permanent tissue death (necrosis) in two of her fingers, and the condition is actively trying to spread. A medical treatment to fix it backfired terribly, leaving her in excruciating, non-stop pain. This has stripped her of her independence and her livelihood—she can no longer work and will need lifelong medical protection just to keep the rest of her fingers safe.

Our family is completely overwhelmed trying to survive this terrifying transition. We have set up a GoFundMe to help cover her immediate survival, rent, and medical care while she cannot work.
