Hi, my name is Miluska Silencio - but you can call me Milly :) I am a 1st generation graduate from Peru who definitely needs help in navigating this season of my life. By God's grace, I got accepted to Fuller Theological Seminary on Feb 14, 2024 - a month before my first baby was born. I knew it was a challenge, but I chose to say “yes” as my husband Josh encouraged me to continue my dreams even as I entered motherhood. Now 2 years later, I have two kiddos, and need a community to help support finishing my degree. 

The funds I invite you to consider in giving are to help cover the costs of childcare for the year and also extra expenses to cover the costs of going to different national presentations. My topics are immigration, women leadership, theology of play, feminist studies to name a few. 

This support would mean the world to me as it would allow me to concentrate on my reading and writing of my thesis as I enter my research and proposal time this year. I believe my thesis which will highlight amazing stories of immigrant women leaders is much needed today when our immigrant communities are targeted as criminals yet we are all contributors for a better society. Giving to this support will help me bring a counter narrative for a much needed time.
