More of a Deep Dive: Doja was found injured and brought into Scraps. Luckily I chipped her so they called me. I was able to get off work to pick her up. Right after we went to the vet where she had to stay the night and prepare for surgery. Doja ended up having a hernia. (Basically, all of her organs left this sack that holds it all together.) The veterinarian did surgery on her, but they didn’t have enough tissue so they had to sew it to some fat. She seemed to be doing much better. We took her home and she couldn’t walk so she always had to have an eye on her. (Sorta normal though hehe) While watching her last night she started breathing slowly so we took her to an emergency clinic. That’s when they told us that her organs aren’t working the way they need to, she’ll need surgery again. She’s been taking pain meds and has been out of it, but I know Doja wants to keep trying just yesterday morning she was trying to drink water by herself and she was trying to play with her toy using her front paw. She would also lift her head to get neck scratches. Doja is tough! Please just keep her in your thoughts and prayers ❤️ 

Doja is a sassy, playful, cuddle bug kitty who’s only 2 years old. Recently, she went outside even though she knows she’s not supposed to. She just can’t help but be curious of the outdoors. She ended up getting severely injured (still unknown how) and already went through a hernia surgery along with other medical procedure. I can’t do it on my own though I’m 22 and already put down four thousand dollars and already owe people who were so gracious to lend Doja the money to get better. she is currently in the emergency clinic and tomorrow morning will be transported to her primary vet. I just don’t have the money for it but I need her in my life she’s my happiness and joy so please help Doja and I reach our goal! I promise she’s a fighter she just needs a chance.
