Hi, I’m Andrea — and while I don’t usually ask for help, life has hit hard all at once.

Back in May, I bought a home out of family necessity. Around the same time, I lost my job of three years — a role I poured my heart into, until my supervisor unexpectedly let me go. Since then, I’ve been trying to rebuild my dog walking business in a new city, but starting over takes time, and bills don’t wait. And yes, applying to jobs, but only had one interview so far. 

To make things even harder, my dog Dotty recently got sick. First it was pancreatitis, and now she’s unable to put weight on her hind leg. She’s a sweet soul who came into my life through Gulf Coast Humane Society — and she’s already been through so much. I also have Moby, my older pup and lifelong companion, who I adopted from Miami-Dade Animal Services. He’s been my steady rock through all of life’s twists. Their comfort and stability matter just as much right now as we navigate these challenges together.

I’ve applied for disability due to my CP, depression, and anxiety, but the process is slow. I’m doing everything I can to stay afloat. Any donation — no matter how small — helps with Dotty’s vet bills, car and house expenses, and gives her a fighting chance while keeping our little rescue family together.
