I'm reaching out with a bit of vulnerability and a lot of hope. In a few months, I’ll be making a major move across the country to start the next chapter of my life—continuing my education. It’s a big step, and one I’ve been working incredibly hard for.
As many of you know, I'm financing my education largely through student loans, and on top of that, I’m currently working two jobs to help make ends meet. Every bit of savings is going toward tuition, housing, and basic living expenses once I arrive. That said, one thing I didn’t fully account for is the cost of simply getting there.
As I prepare for this next chapter, I’ll be driving 2,120 miles from California to Illinois in my trusty (but elderly) 18-year-old hatchback. Between gas, possibly two or three nights in budget friendly hotel, and a little cushion in case my car needs unexpected repairs, I’m hoping to raise the funds to help get me safely to my new home.
Your support means more than just dollars and cents; it means encouragement, belief, and hope as I take this leap.
Whether you donate, share this post, or simply send good vibes, I’m so grateful. Thank you for being part of my story.
With many thanks
