My name is Shanna , known to little Eli as his “auntie cutie or aunt banana” my best friend  Toni ( known to Eli as his “NoNo” ) is facing something no grandmother should ever have to face — the loss of her sweet 5-year-old grandson, Elious (“Eli”).

Eli was full of life, love, and laughter. He loved being a big brother more than anything,  and he had the purest little heart. To know him was to smile, because that’s what he did for everyone around him. Eli loved playing football, dinosaurs, his sissy and his NoNo. He was a  son grandson ,big brother, cousin, nephew and the light in any room. He was excited about starting school and wanted to be a “ maker of cool things ” that Noone has made yet.  His little mind was brilliant!

Right now, the family is left with more questions than answers. It’s said that Eli fell down the stairs, but because there is an ongoing investigation, we can’t say much more. We are waiting on autopsy results while detectives do their work. All we can do is pray for truth and justice while carrying the unbearable weight of losing him.

I am asking for your help to ease the burden on The family so they can give Little Eli the funeral he deserves. No one is ever prepared for this kind of loss, and no family should have to carry it alone.
