Ellie and Bailey are bonded seniors who lived with a family their whole lives. When their momma fell on hard times I took them.  I couldn’t see them going to a shelter or being split up.  I’ve been working with rescue and animals most of my life.  I work for a low cost vet too so knew I could get them vetted.  However things happened.  My husband lost his job.  Then out vet had a piece of her thumb bit off.  She could see appointments but she couldn’t do surgery’.   We do low cost spay and neuter.  We do TNR.  now we couldn’t and income was cut.  This left my boss in a position of hounding everyone who owed money, even those in payment plans, for full payments.  I was able to get Ellie and Bailey all of their exams, vaccines and heartworm tests.  Bailey was Lyme Positive and had to go on meds.  
They both need to put on weigh.  And need more vetting.  My boss gave me a stack of old invoices she never billed me for.  Close to $3000.  I give her $100 every time I’m paid.  But I came home and my Chocolate Lab Watson couldn’t walk.  He was fine when I left for work.  I don’t know if he had a seizure(he had seizures).  My boss wouldn’t see him because I owe money.  He passed away.  Here at home.  He was 11 ½.  I guess it was something serious but I don’t know and I’ll go to my grave never knowing.  Normally I’d run to emergency but I just can’t afford it right now.  Bailey is peeing blood and I need to take him and Ellie to my vet.  And that’s why this fundraise.  To pay their vet bill and get them the vetting they need.
