Hi there,

We are Matt and Cassie Mullen. We're starting this fundraiser in hopes of starting a family of our own. We are both teachers and enjoy hiking, camping, spending quality time with friends and family…and we also really enjoy KIDS! :)

Our fertility journey began 3 years ago when we moved from Utah to Michigan to be closer to family, and start our own. After a year of trying, we sought out help to address a few different issues that were preventing us from conceiving. Since then we have tried and failed 4 medicated cycles, 3 rounds of IUI, 1 round of IVF, and spent over $20,000 in out-of-pocket costs. 

However, we still have hope! We have learned from each trial, and grow stronger in our faith as this process continues. We now have the opportunity to try 2 more rounds of IVF with adjusted medications before resorting to embryo adoption--each of which cost around $10,000. We so badly desire to be parents, but are reaching the point of needing financial help to obtain that goal.
