Hi everyone, 

Please consider helping my long time friend of over 35 years as she navigates a crisis both financially and with lack of sufficient housing. 

My friend desperately needs financial assistance to help support her basic needs as well as the needs of her autistic teenage son and their service dog as she recently has experienced an unexpected housing emergency.

Her teenage son who has autism receives services but due to his disability and significant school and behavioral needs, she has only been able to work part-time while caring for him. Recent circumstances have made it necessary for them to leave their previous secure living situation, and are currently living in a temporary situation, while they work with other service providers to secure safe, stable housing.

This has been a very difficult transition, but there have been bright spots: with structure and consistency, her son has started attending school again, and they are working closely with his support systems to keep that progress going. She is continuing to work, gather documents, and follow every step required by the services her son receives to get them on the other side of this. 
 
I am hoping to raise money to help alleviate the financial burden for:

    •    temporary housing costs until they are placed in permanent housing through County services

    •    food and daily essentials

    •   gas expenses for transportation to and from school for her son 

    •    basic necessities for her, her son and their service dog (toiletries, dog food etc)
