Family here in the Jacksonville FL area. In 2021, everything was good. My fiancée and I got engaged and just had our first child together while in the middle of buying a home together. Once the pandemic hit, I was making good money still, but my fiancée's career came to a halt as a dental assistant. Times got harder, but we managed to. I decided to join the trucking industry to make more money. Since then, I've been paying for truck repair after repair and have been struggling to make decent paychecks. My fiancée's job field has never fully recovered because families don't have extra finances for teeth cosmetics right now. I also have two older daughters in high school, and my oldest is a senior this year, so of course, she has senior fees that I pay for with money I don't have, but she earned it. I could never let her down like that. Now dealing with two hurricanes back to back I’m not sure how we’ll fix damages and pay bills. It's disappointing and painful to have to ask for handouts, but we're falling behind on our mortgage and other bills. I plan on joining the merchant marine field but can't seem to save enough to pay for training. We work hard and live righteously but just can't seem to get back on track. Everything will be greatly appreciated and a blessing beyond belief.
