Dear Friends and Family,

I hope this letter finds you well. I am reaching out to you with a heavy heart to share a difficult situation that my family and I have been facing.

In January of 2022, my beloved father passed away after a brave battle with multiple myeloma and kidney failure, just a month before his second grandson was born. It was his dying wish to have a proper burial, but with no savings or life insurance in place, the financial burden fell on me. I had to use all available resources, including maxing out credit cards, to arrange for his burial.

Despite my best efforts, the expenses exceeded what I could afford. Thankfully, the funeral director, who happens to be a childhood friend and a kind-hearted individual, allowed me to make partial payments and set up a payment plan for the remaining balance. So far, I have managed to pay over $8000 towards the costs, but there's still a balance. I'm trying my best to pay this remaining balance and purchase my father a head stone.  

My father was a remarkable man, having dedicated over 40 years of his life to teaching. He was a proud graduate of Savannah State University and possessed a heart of gold, always caring for others.
