Hi, my name is Renee Richardson. I really need your help! I’m a 55 year old single mother of one amazing daughter who is 27 years old. I’ve omitted her name because she doesn’t know that I’m doing this and she would be embarrassed, but we’re desperate, so here goes! My daughter has been falsely accused of misdemeanor child abuse at the daycare she was employed by. The name of the facility is Kinder Care. My daughter has a gift with children, they are drawn to her and it’s been that way since she was a child.  It has been a lifelong desire of hers to work with children. She has a court appointed lawyer, but he isn’t doing much to help her. Since all this happened, I’ve watched the light go out in her eyes! The once bright, energetic, young woman has become severely depressed, gained weight, and cries all the time! She has chronic insomnia, and this has literally crushed her spirit! She recently received a letter from the North Carolina department of health and human services stating that she cannot work with children due to this and that her has devastated her!!! It pains me to see my child in this situation and it angers me at the same time that a facility would frame her for such a horrific act! I know that my daughter did not nor would not hurt a child, ever! I’m on disability and I cannot possibly afford a good lawyer. She has her next court date on April 16,. I don’t know how much it would cost to get someone to defend her. I’m asking for help! Please help me help her! My sincere thanks for any assistance!
