About this fundraiser

There are seasons when strength is quiet.
For most of my life, I have been deeply self-reliant. My work centers around supporting others through crisis, transition, and uncertainty. It is not simply employment to me. It is purpose.

Over the past several years, I have been navigating ongoing medical complexity. Testing and specialist evaluations are still unfolding, but what is clear is that I am managing lifelong autoimmune and biliary illness. Continued care is necessary to prevent escalation and protect long-term organ health.

Earlier this year, I attempted to crowd-fund support. It was not widely effective, but I am sincerely grateful to the few who contributed. Their generosity allowed me to bring in a licensed HVAC specialist to assess our failing system. That visit confirmed what we suspected: our 25 to 30 year old HVAC system must be fully replaced. Temporary fixes are no longer viable.
Since then, additional essential systems have failed, including our water heater.

These are not upgrades. They are foundational safety needs. Stability in my home environment directly impacts my ability to stabilize my health.
At the same time, ongoing medical testing, imaging, labs, medications, and potential procedures continue to create significant financial strain. Reliable transportation for appointments and work is also necessary to maintain continuity of care.

This campaign addresses interconnected needs:

• Replacement of critical HVAC system
• A functioning water heater
• Reliable transportation
• Ongoing medical diagnostics and treatment

My goal of $20,000 reflects projected system replacement costs, medical expenses, basic stabilization, and platform processing fees.
It has taken significant personal work for me to ask for help in this way. I do not feel entitled to support. I am choosing transparency over isolation.

I know times are heavy for many of us. If contributing is not possible, I completely understand. Sharing or simply holding this with kindness is enough. It is deeply appreciated as well. The earlier support reminded me that even quiet generosity can carry someone through a very heavy season.
