Dear kind supporters,
I am reaching out to share the story of my friend’s boyfriend, Alan, who is in urgent need of support as he seeks a safer and brighter future. Alan currently lives in Russia, where he faces serious risks and threats to his safety due to his values and personal circumstances. His dream is to move to the United States to live with my friend, where he can be safe, pursue his education, and build a better life.
Alan has always been an advocate for human dignity, democracy, and freedom, which has made it difficult for him to continue living in his home country. He has faced significant challenges, including threats to his livelihood and freedom, as a result of standing up for his beliefs. After participating in peaceful protests, Alan was detained by authorities, interrogated, and threatened with severe consequences. Despite this, he refused to give up his values. He was lucky to escape with his life and without further punishment, but he is now living under constant fear of retaliation.
To avoid further threats, Alan was forced to leave his college education behind and take on a job that barely covers his living expenses. Every day, he lives with the uncertainty of what might come next.
This is not just a story of someone wanting to immigrate—it is about giving Alan the chance to live a life where he can be free from fear and supported by the love of his girlfriend. Moving to the United States will allow Alan to pursue a safer, more stable future, where he can continue to grow and contribute to society.
We are raising funds to cover Alan’s visa costs, travel expenses, and initial living costs as he begins this important journey. Your donation will help give him the chance he desperately needs to live in safety and peace, far from the dangers he faces in his home country.
If you are unable to donate, please share this message so that more people can learn about Alan’s story. Every little bit helps, and together we can make this new chapter of his life possible.
Thank you so much for your kindness and support.
