Six years ago, I experienced the traumatic loss of my beloved aunt, who was my entire world and my only family since I was 13. When she passed, my life stopped. I lost my business, my car, my home, and for a long time, I lost my will to move. I was completely frozen by grief. 

I am fighting my way back, but the ground has shifted: I now have to move out by October 31, 2025, because my landlord is selling the house. This is a definite deadline. 

The Immediate Goal: $5,000 to Secure a Safe Move

My $5,000 goal has changed from stopping eviction to ensuring I can successfully relocate my little family—my English Bulldog, Dewey, my cat, Nathan, and me—before the end of the month. 

This $5,000 is needed right now for the non-negotiable costs of moving:

Security Deposit & First Month's Rent: The single largest expense needed to secure a new apartment.

Moving Costs: Rental van, fuel, and storage needed to move my few remaining possessions.

Pet Safety: Ensuring Dewey and Callie have no interruption in food, comfort, or a safe place to land. 

My Comeback Plan

I am no stranger to hard work; I've been in "sink or swim" survival mode since I was a teenager, and I am ready to be that person again. 

The biggest hurdles I face in getting financially "on the grid" are my location and lack of transportation. By helping me reach this $5,000 goal, you give me:

2.  A Fresh Start: Stability allows me to focus fully on securing a remote job or finding reliable transportation to access better work opportunities.
