I’m writing for my grandma’s funeral. We are low income and don’t have enough money to cover the expenses. She died due to a heart attack, but even before that, she had been in and out of the hospital. On June 21st, her life sadly came to an end. We’re currently seeking assistance for the funeral and burial expenses.

What caused us to fall on even harder times is that my grandma was the head of household in our low-income apartments. Every month we already struggled to make rent, but after her passing, my mom became head of household. When we spoke to the complex manager, we found out that my grandma was behind nearly $3,000 in rent. On top of that, the funeral and burial expenses are nearly $19,000. We’re doing everything we can from fundraising and hosting car washes, anything you can do would be appreciated.
